Biography

Nathan Anderson helps policyholders maximize their insurance recovery and represents businesses in complex contracts disputes and products liability actions.

Nathan has handled insurance coverage disputes across a range of policies, including CGL policies; various types of errors and omissions and professional liability policies; directors, officers, and corporate liability insurance policies; environmental liability policies; employment practices liability policies; and commercial property policies. He has helped resolve complex disputes involving other insurance and priority of payments issues.

Nathan readily adapts to the needs of the matter and thinks creatively about solutions to maximize insurance recoveries for policyholders. By bringing a combination of flexibility and rigor to his cases, Nathan effectively advocates for his clients’ interests.

He has experience managing evidentiary aspects of complex litigation up to and through trial. He has overseen document discovery requiring the review and analysis of millions of pages of documents, navigated complicated jurisdictional disputes, engaged in wide-ranging motion practice, and handled depositions for cases on their way to trial.

During law school, Nathan served as a legal intern for UCSF in the Industry Contracts Group and as a legal aid volunteer for the California Asylum Representation Clinic.

Nathan’s pro bono work currently focuses on immigration matters, including representing and assisting asylum seekers.
